Child Therapy
Helping Children Thrive
Growing up isn’t always easy. Children sometimes struggle with worries, big feelings or behavioral outbursts at school and at home. Early support can make a profound difference: research shows that getting help for a child’s mental health issues early can reduce problems at home, in school and with friends. Our child therapy services in London, Ontario provide a safe, nurturing space where children aged 5‑12 can explore emotions, learn healthy coping skills and build resilience.

Who Is It For?
Parents often seek help when their child shows signs of anxiety, sadness, anger, peer conflicts or difficulty adjusting to a loss or life transition. Therapy can also support children with developmental challenges, attention‑deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or disruptive behaviors. The first step is to arrange a comprehensive evaluation with a mental health professional so we can determine the best approach for your child.
Our Approach
Sessions are tailored to each child’s age and personality. Therapists inform their treatment with evidence‑based modalities such as play therapy, cognitive‑behaviour therapy (CBT) and parent‑child interaction to help children express feelings through talk, art and play. Parent involvement is key: we often meet separately with caregivers to discuss behaviours and practice new strategies. As your child learns to recognise and manage emotions, we work together to strengthen family relationships and reinforce positive behaviours. Sessions are offered in‑person in our London office or online across Ontario.
